a journey's end

ending this journey is just the beginning...

as new ideas unfold and time becomes something that i can play with again..

your moon, our moon

i was just thinking about the moon ...

that is, your moon ...

and our moon ...

the moon is ....

"the moon is.....

..... the roof of the world" she said

"no" he replied

"it is the earth beneath your feet"

"maybe" the girl pondered,

"just maybe.....

........ it can be both"

not so linear ...

the thing about experience is that it feels linear

but

i suspect experiences are like memories

and

don't follow a line at all...

they are multi-layered and collapse in on each other.. and concertina out in different configurations when we remember them...in different ways depending in why we remember them ...











so it is with this journey cloth ....

i remember making this section and thinking about the many crosses in the city of paris

and the many footsteps i had left there

along with the multitude of layers the city has

and the circles i searched for

and found

how all seemed old

and pulsing with life .......

.. the decision to repurpose this piece means that it becomes relevant to my life now .... by treading again over this territory, i found myself savouring the old and celebrating the new.. feeling love for what was .... and for what is
